Just when you thought Republicans could not possibly get any worse…
Just short of the entire GOP has been chomping at the bit to protect their gun rights over the lives of innocent children and human beings in this nation — after an 18-year-old shooter opened fire on a 4th-grade classroom at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, where he managed to shoot and kill at least 21 innocent human beings — 19 children and two teachers in one fourth-grade classroom.
The massacre was the state’s most deadly school shooting in modern history, the nation’s third most deadly shooting, just after the 2007 Virginia Tech shooting and 2012 Sandy Hook shooting, and the country’s third deadly mass shooting in a matter of weeks.
The likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene and her Republican colleagues have wasted no time in attempting to throw the blame for these senseless deaths on things like mental illness, psych medications, video games, and bullying, all because they’re absolutely terrified that American citizens will no longer be able to pack a firearm through their local Walmart, and then the NRA will stop signing the checks.

But the sickening behavior of these people apparently goes far and beyond lobbying for gun rights over human lives — despite the fact that you really wouldn’t think that it could get any worse than that.
New footage from an event that was held yesterday for Republican US Senate candidate Herschel Walker has busted supporters of the GOPer laughing and cheering as they watched footage of Fox News talking head Tucker Carlson mocking and making fun of a visibly shaken President Biden’s public remarks just mere hours after the deadly mass shooting.
President Biden addressed the American people as news of the mass murder was still developing, delivering an impassioned speech from the White House in which he called for an end to the epidemic of gun violence in this country.
“As a nation, we have to ask: When in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby? When in God’s name will we do what we all know in our gut needs to be done?” the President pressed in his passionate speech.
“I am sick and tired of it. We have to act. And don’t tell me we can’t have an impact on this carnage.”
“I spent my career as a senator and as Vice President working to pass commonsense gun laws. We can’t and won’t prevent every tragedy. But we know they work and have a positive impact,” the president stated to the nation.
Biden also noted in his speech, “I just got off my trip from Asia, meeting with Asian leaders, and I learned of this while I was on the aircraft. And what struck me on that 17-hour flight — what struck me was these kinds of mass shootings rarely happen anywhere else in the world.”
Before the president’s speech had barely concluded, the controversial Fox host was already on air, attacking President Biden as “frail” and “confused.”
These heinous, disgusting remarks from the ultra Right-wing talking head were apparently all the rage among supporters of the newly-victorious Georgia Republican Senate nominee Herschel Walker during his election night event.
NBC News correspondent Ellison Barber captured footage of the event, in which Walker’s supporters, many of which were donning the trademarked red MAGA hats, can be seen watching Tucker Carlson Tonight on monitors all around the room. As President Biden’s remarks on the shooting conclude, Carlson cuts on-screen and declared, “The President of the United States. Frail, confused, bitterly partisan…” igniting an uproar of laughter and cheers from the MAGA crowd.
The rest of the Carlson clip can’t be heard in Barber’s footage, as the crowd whistles, hoots, and hollers, causing them to seemingly miss the part where the Fox host accuses the US president of “desecrating the memory of recently murdered children.”
The irony in that is enough to make you vomit.
