Marco Rubio Humiliated Himself, Attempted To Pay Tribute To John Lewis, But Instead Tweeted Out Photo With Elijah Cummings

Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio on Saturday sent out a tweet to share a photo of himself with the late Rep. Elijah Cummings when honoring Rep. John Lewis, who died on Friday. Rubio has since deleted the tweet and replaced it with another one, but the Internet is forever. Georgia Democratic Rep. John Lewis — a civil rights hero — died Friday after suffering from Stage IV pancreatic cancer. The Twitterverse, of course, had some fun at Rubio’s expense.

Rubio replaced his tweet with this:
