As the country rapidly approaches one of the most sacred holidays in Christianity — the day in the Christian religion that marks the death and subsequent reanimation of Jesus Christ himself, three days later — Marjorie Taylor Greene has taken it upon herself to compare disgraced, indicted ex-President Donald Trump to Jesus Christ himself.
I swear, you didn’t read that wrong.
This morning, the highly controversial, Q-Anon Republican Congresswoman made an appearance on Right Side Broadcasting Network with host Brian Glenn, as the entire country waited on bated breath for scandal-ridden former President Trump to arrive at the Manhattan courthouse, where he was booked, fingerprinted, processed, and technically arrested as he faced his official arraignment on 34 felony charges related to the notorious Stormy Daniels hush money investigation.
As the Right-wing Georgia House rep. prepared herself for the unprecedented legal proceedings against her Dear Leader, Greene full-on went there when she claimed that Trump would be in good company following his arrest, as he would reach the heights of the likes of Nelson Mandela and Jesus f*cking Christ himself.

“President Trump is joining some of the most incredible people in history being arrested today,” Greene told the RSBN host this morning, on this Easter Tuesday. “Nelson Mandela was arrested, served time in prison. Jesus! Jesus was arrested and murdered by the Roman government.”
“There have been many people throughout history that have been arrested and persecuted by radical, corrupt governments,” Marjorie went on to add. “And it’s beginning today in New York City. And I just can’t believe it’s happening, but I’ll always support him. He’s done nothing wrong.”
The congresswoman’s interview with RSBN bizarrely took place in a vehicle, just moments after her big speech to protesters outside the Manhattan courthouse where Donald Trump faced a judge today. Greene was quickly forced to flee the impromptu speech, as she was bum-rushed by counter-protesters.
