If there’s anyone that could undoubtedly be chalked up as the Republican party’s biggest embarrassment — it’s Georgia’s Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Not only is this dingbat honestly worse than almost all of her GOP colleagues, she genuinely seems as though she’s in a competition with herself — every day making it her goal to come up with something stupider and more insane than the day before.
Don’t believe me? Check this out.
Recently, Greene took to the House floor to rail against Climate Change (as she so often does) and this time she invoked the help of Fred Jones.
Wondering who Fred Jones is? Is not an expert in the field, a fellow Congress member, or even some batshit crazy YouTuber with theories that back up her own. No. It’s a fictional character from Scooby-Doo.

I’m not kidding.
Marjorie Taylor Greene, a grown-ass adult who enjoys a position within the United States House of Representatives, literally took to the House floor with a printout of a meme featuring the Scooby-Doo character to back up her nonsense claims about Climate Change and the Green New Deal.
Greene revealed the printed out meme, assuring her colleagues that it is “very real,” that depicted the cartoon character removing a “mask” labeled “Green New Deal” to reveal the sickle and hammer symbol underneath, which Greene referred to as “China.”
“This is a simple meme you would find on the internet but this meme is very real,” Greene asserted. “The Greene New Deal, surprise, is, serves China, and China only.”

Americans reacted to Greene’s House floor meme stunt pretty much exactly as we expected them to:

Frankly, I genuinely wish we were making this up.
