Matt Gaetz Tells Female Reporter That Women Protesting Roe Shouldn’t Even Worry About Abortion Access Because They’re Too “Ugly And Overweight” To Get Pregnant

He's nauseating.

Florida Republican lawmaker Matt Gaetz is out here making an ass out of himself YET AGAIN.

Over the weekend, the highly controversial congressman cracked “jokes” about the various protests that are continuing to rage across the nation against the Supreme Court’s recent stomach-churning decision to overturn the landmark 1973 Roe V. Wade decision that federally protected a woman’s right to privacy and healthcare access, including abortions, according to new reporting from The Daily Mail.

Speaking to college students at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, Gaetz openly mocked those who are protesting to protect federal abortion rights, “Why is it that the women with the least likelihood of getting pregnant are the ones most worried about having abortions?”

“Nobody wants to impregnate you if you look like a thumb,” Gaetz added.

Yesterday, Gaetz doubled down on his comments when he was asked for an explanation regarding his remarks.

“I’m very pro-life and I make no apology for it,” the child-free, 40-year-old GOP congressman said.

“I’m grateful that Roe has been overturned and that Dobbs is now the jurisprudence on abortion. I find these people that go out in these pro-abortion, pro-murder rallies odious – and just, like, ugly on the inside and out. I make no apology for it.”

Gaetz went on to claim that he didn’t think everyone who disagreed with him is an “ugly person,” but went on to openly condemn individuals who protested outside the homes of SCOTUS justices.

Channel 3 asked the congressman, “Is it safe to say that, based off your comments, you’re suggesting that these women at these abortion rallies are ugly and overweight?”

Gaetz shot back, “Yes.”

“What do you say to people who think those comments are offensive?” Chanel 3 questioned, prompting Gaetz to answer, “Be offended.”

Gaetz himself is currently still under investigation for sex trafficking and sex with a minor.

“These people are odious on the inside and out,” the congressman said at this weekend’s summit. “‘They’re like 5’2”, 350 pounds and they’re like, ‘Give me my abortions or I’ll get up and march and protest.’ And I’m thinking, “March?” You look like you got ankles weaker than the legal reasoning behind Roe v. Wade.”

“A few of them need to get up and march. They need to get up and march for like an hour a day, swing those arms, get the blood pumping, maybe mix in a salad.”

This is not the first time Matt Gaetz has said something ugly and unprofessional regarding Roe protesters, recently tweeting, “How many of the women rallying against overturning Roe are over-educated, under-loved millennials who sadly return from their protests to a lonely microwave dinner with their cats, and no bumble matches?”
