Meghan McCain claimed that her neighborhood has been left in shambles by protesters, only to be called out by her own neighbor for lying.
Donald Trump has been furiously attacking New York and demanding that Governor Andrew Cuomo call up the National Guard to put down protests that have resulted in some property damage.
Trump is acting like New York City is a war zone and like protesters are enemy combatants.
Sadly, McCain acted the same way when she insisted that the area she lives in has been “eviscerated” by protesters and attacked Cuomo and Mayor Bill DeBlasio by accusing them of letting the city “burn to the ground.”
My neighborhood in Manhattan is eviscerated and looks like a war zone. DeBlasio and Cuomo are an utter disgrace. This is not America. Our leaders have abandoned us and continue to let great American cities burn to the ground and be destroyed. I never could have fathomed this

Indeed, unlike her late father, Meghan has never been in war zone. But the way she’s talking, it sure sounds like she trying to turn her neighborhood into one.
