Melania Is Now Hawking A Necklace For A Hefty Price Tag And People Have Some Thoughts: ‘She’s As Tacky As Her Husband’

Melania Trump, the former First Lady, is back in the news, and not for any groundbreaking charity work or a new cause. No, she’s now selling a necklace for a jaw-dropping $600, and people are not happy about it. Media personality Mike Sington summed up the mood with his tweet:

“The First Lady of grift. Now Melania Trump is hawking an ugly necklace to her MAGA fans. Oh, it’s $600. The rubes will buy it, then complain about inflation. She’s as tacky as her husband.”

People were quick to react, with most not holding back. K.Z. Snow had a witty response: “Guess it’s easier to peddle obscenely overpriced CRAP than to join hubs on the campaign trail.” Another Twitter user, JPT, didn’t mince words either, saying, “This is so embarrassing.” Some even joked about Melania’s future plans, like Diane Arseneault, who said, “She’s trying hard to make enough money to divorce Trump as soon as he loses the election.”

Then there was Captain Picard, who pointed out the ridiculousness of the price: “1.5 inch ‘GOLD-PLATED sterling silver’ pendant for $600?!!! NFW!” Meanwhile, Angeline added a pinch of sarcasm with her comment, “Yes! People who have $600 to buy this have plenty of money for groceries.”

This isn’t Melania’s first time trying to sell expensive jewelry. Just a few months ago, on April 22nd, she promoted a $245 “Love & Gratitude” necklace for Mother’s Day. But that too was met with criticism. People questioned why anyone would pay that much for a necklace, especially during tough economic times. The timing of her promotions—around Mother’s Day—felt more like an attempt to make a quick buck than a heartfelt message.

It seems like this is a trend with the Trumps. Throughout Donald Trump’s presidency, the family was accused of putting their businesses first. Trump’s hotels, for example, saw plenty of visitors, including diplomats, who stayed there during his time in office. Many felt this was a huge conflict of interest. It was clear that even while running the country, the Trumps were still trying to boost their own wealth.

Melania’s new $600 necklace follows the same pattern. While many Americans are worried about inflation, struggling to pay bills, and trying to keep up with rising costs, Melania is focused on selling overpriced jewelry. As Captain Picard mentioned, the necklace isn’t even solid gold—it’s just gold-plated sterling silver! People are wondering how she can charge so much for something that, quite frankly, doesn’t seem worth it.

This also isn’t the first time the Trump family has faced questions about their financial dealings. In 2018, Donald Trump’s charitable foundation was shut down after it was found to be involved in shady practices, like using donations for personal expenses and legal fees. The Trumps have always found ways to make money, even when they shouldn’t.

But the real question is, who’s buying this necklace? And why? Is it just loyal Trump fans who are willing to spend big bucks to support the family, no matter what? Or are there people out there who actually think this necklace is worth $600? Either way, Melania’s new venture shows how out of touch the Trump family is with the struggles of everyday Americans.
