Miami Herald Reports Trump Flew In A Plane Owned By Notorious Figure

This is not going to help his cause.

Last week, Donald Trump was en route to a campaign event in Bozeman, Montana, aboard his private jet, the infamous “Trump Force One.” But mid-flight, mechanical issues forced him to make an unscheduled landing in Billings, Montana. For most of us, this would mean a delay, a headache, maybe a few hours in the airport lounge. However, for Trump, the solution was to switch planes. And not just any plane, folks. According to the Miami Herald, he switched to a blue Gulfstream jet that, as it turns out, was once owned by none other than Jeffrey Epstein.

Yes, you heard that right. The very same Jeffrey Epstein who was arrested on sex trafficking charges, who was accused of sexually abusing more than 100 girls and young women, and who died under mysterious circumstances in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019. Epstein’s connections to powerful people, including Trump, have always been a source of public scrutiny and conspiracy theories. And now, Trump’s campaign is in the hot seat for using Epstein’s old plane.

Let’s break down the details. The Gulfstream jet in question, with tail number N550GP, was originally registered to one of Epstein’s companies in the U.S. Virgin Islands back in 2018. At the time, its tail number was N212JE—a number that’s all too familiar to those who’ve followed the Epstein scandal closely. This plane, though not the infamous “Lolita Express,” was still part of Epstein’s fleet, a fleet that was notorious for ferrying Epstein and his associates around the world.

Today, the plane is owned by Threshold Aviation Group, a private charter service based in Ontario, California. Their website boasts about luxury air travel, but they’ve been notably silent on this latest development. The Miami Herald reached out to the company for comment, but—surprise, surprise—they didn’t respond.

Now, the Trump campaign is scrambling to distance themselves from this controversy. A campaign spokesperson said they had “no awareness” that the chartered plane had once belonged to Epstein. They claim a vendor arranged the campaign’s charter in the past, and they only found out about the plane’s history through the media. They even slapped a “Trump 2024” decal on the jet for the trip to add a bit of Trump flair.

But let’s be real here. This isn’t just any plane—it’s a Gulfstream with a history that’s bound to raise eyebrows, especially given Trump’s connections to Epstein. As reported by the Miami Herald, records show that Trump flew on Epstein’s planes at least six times between 1993 and 1997.

So, what’s the fallout from all this? Trump used Epstein’s old plane for just one day while “Trump Force One” was being repaired. He traveled from Bozeman to a fundraiser in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, then to Aspen and Denver before his original plane was back in service. However, the damage to Trump’s campaign may already be done. This isn’t just about a plane swap; it’s about the optics, the associations, and the questions that will inevitably follow.

In the end, it’s yet another chapter in the Trump saga, one that brings him uncomfortably close to the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein. As always, there’s never a dull moment in Trump’s world, but there’s never a shortage of controversy.
