Michael Cohen Claims Donald Will Retreat To Mar-A-Lago During Christmas Break And Not Return For Biden’s Inauguration

His new bunker: Mar-A-Lago

We are currently on day three of Donald Trump refusing to accept his loss to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election and it is starting to get obnoxious. It’s clear that Trump’s barrage of whiny tweets complaining that the election was stolen from him, or retweets of any psycho that happens to agree with him, is all we are going to get, with no hope of any sort of concession.

This analysis might hit close to home for us, but Michael Cohen, Trump’s one-time personal attorney and fixer, gave his take on it all on MSNBC last Sunday:

I would not be shocked if there is no concession speech at all. My theory is that at Christmas time he goes to Mar-a-Lago. I think he will stay there through the inauguration. I would not be shocked if he will not show up to the inauguration either.” Cohen continued, “He cannot let the camera look at him and basically pull down the curtain and see the wizard standing beside. He is just a loser and it is killing him and, right now, what is going on in the White House is nothing but finger-pointing.”

So there you have it, folks. He is going to run away to his Florida abode at Christmas and not return, not even for Biden’s inauguration — which, to put the icing on the cake, will probably be larger than Mr. Trump’s, even with social distancing. It is nice to imagine Trump quietly escaping, having his “public interest” Twitter privileges removed and getting banned from the site, and ultimately slowly fading into obscurity while he wallows in hiding at Mar-A-Lago. Sadly, though, Cohen had more to say on the matter:

He will fight this not just until January when he is now required to leave and go wherever he has to go, but he will do things post leaving that will make things very difficult for the Biden administration.”

Not only will Biden have to deal with the devastation Trump brought on our government when he stripped away every policy of Obama’s that he could, and not only will he be in charge of healing our nation after being so divided, figuratively and literally, but he is also going to have that orange ogre nipping at his heels.

That being said, I am confident that Biden and Harris know they won’t be rid of him and his vile rhetoric so easily and won’t be caught by surprise by anything Trump will try in the future.
