It has been a long five days. This nation has been through more than we ever believed we could take over the course of the past four years. We have shed so many tears. Lived through so many sleepless nights. Shared so many hugs. Lost so many lives. But the wait is over. It is over. Joseph R. Biden has officially won the 2020 United States presidential election.
After a long, tedious, hard election full of so many emotions — fear and elation, sadness and heartbreak, excitement and hope — we finally made it. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris pulled through and were successful in flipping the full blue wall, consisting of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, earning their ticket well over the 270 electoral college votes needed to secure their path to the White House.
Despite all of Donald Trump’s lawsuits, litigations, court filings, and tweets, attempting to derail this nation’s Democratic process and stifle the voice of the American people, we have come out victorious. And the whole of this country could be any happier:
We did this. You did this. I’m so proud of us.

Take a deep breath. Pat yourself on the back. We did it. We survived. We fought back. We have won.
