Donald Trump is getting nervous is a bad kind of way. His very own people are coming out in droves to testify against him to House Democrats and the Congressional Oversight Committee regarding the call he conducted with Ukraine that is now serving as the beginning of the end for him.
In fact, members of his administration both past and present with knowledge of the call in question have actually testified to the quid pro quo laid out by Trump during the conversation of military aid, funding, and a meeting with Donald himself in exchange for dirt on his political opponent, Democratic candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden.
Frankly, Trump knows that his days left running this country into the ground are numbered. Despite all of his and his administration’s attempts to throw the whole impeachment inquiry on a technicality, he’s well aware that he likely won’t be seeing another White House Christmas. And his desperation is really beginning to show.
We all know the first thing Donald does when he begins to feel pressured, uncomfortable or threatened — he fires up that ol’ Twitter account and gives his fat thumbs a brisk workout. And this morning, it’s a wonder those things didn’t catch fire after he sent out a barrage of 30 plus tweets or retweets in a matter of mere hours, almost all of which attempted to disparage and tear down the impeachment inquiry against him.

But during the course of Donnie’s social media meltdown, it seems that one of his tweets, in particular, caught the eye of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who’s leading the charge against Trump, and she decided to take a quick moment to respond to him.
“How many more Never Trumpers will be allowed to testify about a perfectly appropriate phone call when all anyone has to do is READ THE TRANSCRIPT! I knew people were listening in on the call (why would I say something inappropriate?), which was fine with me, but why so many?” one of Trump’s manic tweets read this morning.
And Pelosi wasted absolutely no time in reminding him what really took place in that phone call.
“Everybody has read your words on the call. The Ukrainian President asks for military aid to fend off the Russian attack, you say “I want you to do us a favor though,” and then you spend the rest of the call asking for bogus investigations to smear your political opponents,” the House Speaker fired back in a tweet of her own.

Might I remind you, Donald — Nancy is a strong, dignified, badass woman. And while she may tear you down with grace and finesse, she absolutely won’t be taking any of your bullshit. Less we remind you of the infamous photo, hmm?
