Pence May Have Been Exposed To Coronavirus: Student Is Quarantined For COVID-19 Just Days After VP Shook Hands With Classmates

From the sounds of it, Vice President Mike Pence better hope he’s got his praying pants on, because according to a new report, Pence may very well have been exposed to the deadly new coronavirus recently.

The newly appointed coronavirus czar — which, in Trump world, translates to a scapegoat meant to take the fall when everything inevitably goes to shit in the end — paid a visit to the Sarasota Military Academy last week where he met and shook hands with several students at the school.

Now, the military school has released a statement on Facebook revealing that one of their students and the boy’s mother have now been quarantined for the novel COVID-19 that Pence is ironically now in charge of.

The Herald-Tribune reports that the mother-son pair were quarantined as a result of contact with an infected individual who recently tested positive for the fatal illness at Doctors Hospital and the Pentagon has already been in direct contact with the military academy.

This past Friday, senior cadets from the school met with the Vice President in connection to a fundraiser being held at Rep. Vern Buchanan’s residence, where they shook hands and took several photos together. The school has specified that the student who’s now under COVID-19 quarantine was not in attendance at the event where Pence was present — however, it’s worth noting that the other students who Pence was in contact with were themselves in contact with the potentially infected individual, opening up a possible avenue to the Vice President.

The mother, who’s a hospital employee, came into contact with the virus in connection to her job, and subsequently exposed her son. Thus far, neither the mother nor the son is showing any outward symptoms of the virus.

So far, Florida has reported two cases of the novel virus in the state.

Something tells me Pence is going to be looking for a whole lot more than thoughts and prayers if he finds himself in trouble.
