A video recently obtained and released by the Daily Mail is raising even more questions about suspected Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley as it appears to show the Michigan attacker disoriented and wobbling through the kitchen of a diner he worked in at the time, ultimately appearing to fall down and hit his head.
The Oxford, Michigan, teenager, 15, who recently added his name to an ever-growing list of school shooters in the United States, was reportedly 14-years-old at the time the video was captured on a Ring surveillance camera in a local diner where he reportedly worked at the time, back in September of 2020. In the footage, an individual we’re told is Crumbley can be seen walking with a very awkward gait, stumbling and wobbling around in the diner’s kitchen, before ultimately collapsing and appearing to hit his head on something in the diner’s kitchen. In the footage, he appeared to struggle with getting up on his own, with someone else in the establishment coming over to try to help him.
The report claims Crumbley’s mother, Jennifer Crumbley, was called following Ethan’s falling incident, and allegedly told the owner that it was possible Ethan hadn’t eaten that day, resulting in his fall. However, the report notes that the diner’s owner wasn’t buying Jennifer’s excuse. As a result, Ethan’s mother then claimed that the fall could have been a result of the teenager’s medication.
The report goes on to note that the owner of the diner also claimed Ethan’s brother Eli was once caught smoking weed while working at the same establishment. The staff of the diner reportedly threatened to call Eli’s parents over the cannabis incident, to which Eli replied, “Where do you think I got it from?”

Ethan’s parents, Jennifer and James Crumbley, have already been the subject of severe scrutiny over their parenting. A former neighbor of the couple recently spoke out, revealing that the Crumbley parents left their young son Ethan at home alone while they went out to drink at bars so much that the neighbor was forced to report their behavior to Child Protective Services.
Since the Oxford High shooting and Ethan’s subsequent arrest, his parents, James and Jennifer, have also been arrested on charges of involuntary manslaughter due to their behavior surrounding their son, leading up to the shooting.
