Pretty much the entirety of the Right has been desperate to turn Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse into a Conservative martyr, following his acquittal on all charges after fatally shooting two men and severely injuring a third during massive protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, following the police shooting of Jacob Blake.

Following his not guilty verdict, numerous notable names in the GOP have bumrushed to snatch the acquitted killer up as a congressional intern — including Matt Gaetz, who was challenged to an arm-wrestling match by Paul Gosar “to get dibs” on Rittenhouse, and Lauren Boebert who challenged her fellow Rep. Madison Cawthorn to a “sprint.”

But now it seems that Lauren Boebert, despite hoping to bring the teen onto Capitol Hill with her, believes Rittenhouse has far “bigger intentions” than to serve as an intern in a congressional office.

And frankly, the mere insinuation is terrifying to us.

Lauren’s suggestion regarding Rittenhouse’s life plans following his acquittal came while speaking on the America First podcast with right-wing commentator and host Sebastian Gorka.

“You know, he’s gonna come out and visit some of us, but I think he has bigger intentions than being an intern in Congress,” Lauren told the podcast host during the recent appearance.

Rittenhouse himself has made it clear, following the courtroom ruling in his favor, that he has no interest in a political career and will turn down any congressional internships offered to him.

In a recent NewsNation interview, Rittenhouse said, “I do not plan on accepting any internships. I don’t want to get involved in politics at all. I know nothing about it, and thank everybody for their support. But I’m good, thank you.”

Instead, the Kenosha killer, who is actually from Antioch, Illinois, claims he has plans to attend Arizona State University, where he will allegedly study nursing.

Despite Rittenhouse’s public lack of interest in politics, the teen has personally met with numerous GOP congress members, including Lauren Boebert — who claims Kyle praised her for challenging Rep. Cawthorn to “win” the acquitted shooter for their congressional office.

Even former President Donald Trump himself has personally entertained the Kenosha killer at Mar-a-Lago, claiming Rittenhouse had asked Trump if he could meet him because he was a fan.”

“Kyle, I got to know him a little bit,” Trump recently told Fox host Sean Hannity. “He called. He wanted to know if he could come over and say hello because he was a fan.”

CNN recently reported that Donald Trump hosted Kyle Rittenhouse as well as his mother at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
