It’s gotten to a strange point in the Republican Party where if a member faces reality, they are shunned. Joe Biden won the presidential election nine months ago in both the electoral and popular vote, but former President Donald Trump cannot admit defeat. And somehow, Trump supporters and most members of his party are backing up his wackadoodle claims even though they are easily debunked. Just look at what’s going on in Arizona. The state has already conducted two audits, and now they’re working on a third one — a very partisan one at that. Insanity is counting the same votes over and over and expecting a different result.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) got heckled at an event for not following Trump supporters down the crazy-time rabbit hole. There is a lot we can criticize Crenshaw for, but accepting reality isn’t one of them. His policies suck, but he isn’t insane.
“Don’t kid yourself into believing that’s why we lost… 5 different states?” Crenshaw said. “Hundreds of thousands of votes? You’re kidding yourself.”
A man said, “You’re wrong” and strangely added that “it’s going to flip.” The man insisted, “You’ll see.”

Republicans have become so detached from reality that 1/3rd of them believe that the twice-impeached one-term president will be reinstated, according to a new poll. Republicans think that Trump is going to be reinstated on August 13th even though there is no mechanism in the Constitution for that to happen.
New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman tweeted earlier this year that Trump is “telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August.” A lot of people are going to be disappointed. I’m sure Q sees something meaningful in the fact that it lands on Friday the 13th. Sorry, GOP, but you’re suffering from a self-inflicted wound.
