Ronna McDaniel, Chairperson of the Republican National Committee, has tried to claim that the RNC isn’t blindly devoted to Donald Trump. But frankly, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that she’s simply not telling the truth.
Not only has the Republican National Committee as a whole blindly thrown its support and loyalty behind the ex-president — going so far as to call the violent January 6th Capitol riot “legitimate political discourse” and even deciding to censure the two Republicans lawmakers who are participating in the House Select Committee’s investigation of the siege — it seems the chairperson herself, on a personal level, is pretty googly-eyed with the ex-president.
Recently, Donald Trump made an appearance on McDaniel’s podcast Real America, and to be frank, if she fawned over him any harder, I’m pretty sure we’d have to send her back to middle school.
“Thank you for what you’re doing,” Ronna praised Trump. “Thank you for being out there. I just have two final things that I wanted to say to you.”
Of course, Donald was chomping at the bit for every ounce of ego inflation he could get, saying, “Go ahead.”
