Sean Hannity Slips In Plug About MyPillow During Segment About Crises In Afghanistan

What a douche.

When Fox News’s Sean Hannity isn’t blaming President Joe Biden for the crisis in Afghanistan, he is reportedly plugging his radio show’s sponsors in recent days, including MyPillow, while discussing the Taliban’s takeover in the region, according to The Daily Beast and Media Matters. While thousands of Afghans are left desperate to escape the area, Hannity wants you to buy a MyPillow to sleep better during the humanitarian crisis.

“Monday afternoon’s program, for instance, he urged his listeners to call into his show to discuss Afghanistan before seamlessly transitioning into a commercial for a cellphone company,” The Daily Beast reports.

“There is a stampede, not only out of Afghanistan but a stampede away from high prices, overpriced service from the big carriers like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile. The average family making the switch to PureTalk,” Hannity said.

Hannity took a break to rage against the Biden administration, placing the blame for the crisis squarely on the President, then he seemingly turned into a salesman again.

“How would you like to be in Kabul today, as an American, and you can’t get to the airport?” the right-wing host asks, Media Matters reports. “Where are you thinking your life is headed? If you’re one of those family members, I bet you’re not sleeping. I don’t even think MyPillow can do it. MyPillow.com. That’s where I go. I fall asleep faster; I stay asleep longer. These are going to be a lot of sleepless nights for so many of our fellow Americans. We’ve got to get them home.”

You can hear the audio below:

‘Ironically, while Hannity was selling MyPillows during his Tuesday radio show while discussing the dire Afghanistan crisis, the MyPillow CEO has spent the past few weeks ranting and raving at Fox News and its stars—including Hannity—for not covering his baseless election fraud claims and recent “cyber symposium,”‘ the Beast reports.

What a hot mess. Imagine trying to sell a crazy man’s pillows while raging against the Biden administration for a crisis that is unfolding. Hannity, who is an elitist, has repeatedly raged against elitists. It’s almost as if the Fox News talking head isn’t a very genuine person.
