Everyone imagined it differently, how Trump would handle losing to Joe Biden, what he would do in response, where he would be — well we now have the answer, and if you thought logically it wasn’t that hard to guess. After four excruciatingly long days of counting votes, there was finally enough data to make the final call. Joe Biden has won the election, and he will replace Donald J. Trump as America’s 46th president. And where was Donald Trump when the news dropped? Golfing. Because of course he was.
According to those who keep track of the soon to be ex-president’s golfing excursions, this would be the 284th visit to a golf course during his four years as our Commander-in-Chief. It is just so on-brand for Trump to have been golfing when his presidency effectively ended and considering how much he does it wouldn’t have been a bad bet to make either.
Despite tweeting out, “I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!” right before this little outing, someone there had to break the news that pretty much all of America, except for him, has accepted Joe Biden as the winner. The Associated Press managed to nab a picture right after it happened
