Former President Donald Trump responded to the news that the New York Attorney General’s office, headed by Letitia James, is now launching a criminal probe into the Trump Organization. Previously, it was a civil investigation, but that’s all changed now. Trump didn’t take the news very well, so he published a lengthy statement on his blog. And since the twice impeached one-term former president has been deplatformed on social media, Donald Trump Jr. posted a screenshot of his father’s statement. Junior called the probe “political persecution.”
My father’s statement on the flagrant witch hunt that started before New York’s Attorney General even took office and apparently before she’d actually seen any actual evidence. (Apparently minor details these days)

Since that knothead wants to talk about “political persecution,” then maybe Trump supporters shouldn’t have attended rallies while chanting “lock her up!” That was the worst smear launched against a candidate ever. I’ll bet Junior regrets that now. Oh, well.
