Donald Trump has been trying to sell the public on his claims that presumptive nominee Joe Biden has dementia or whatnot, but the president doesn’t seem to realize that he didn’t just “get back from India.” Also, he did not “beat COVID.” Trump is the king of projection. The current occupant of the White House was in India in February, so that was three months ago.
Trump was talking to a reporter who is apparently from India; then the president launched into a racist rant instead of answering the question. “India, he loves India so much he’s never asked a question other than an India question, and that’s OK,” Trump said.
“I just got back from India, right? I just beat COVID,” the totally stable genius added.

This is why an unstable drug addict lost in a soupy haze of dementia and untreated tertiary syphilis shouldn’t lead this country.

Trump has been on a roll today, claiming that he’d get rid of his Twitter account if he didn’t find it necessary to push back against “fake news.” And he also threatened to take the behemoth social site down. And the reason he’s so angry amid the pandemic that has killed over one hundred thousand Americans is that Twitter fact-checked him. Instead of focusing on the nearly two million Americans who have contracted the disease, or the more than forty million Americas who are suddenly unemployed, Trump is spending his time lashing out at Twitter — over a fact-check.
And that’s three months after he returned from India, by the way.
Oh, and Trumpers who voted for him because he “tells it like it is” do not get to explain what he really meant. That’s a new rule I just made up, but I’m just telling it like it is.
