Through the various tell-all books that have come out against disgraced former president Donald Trump and his family and administration in recent weeks, we’ve had the pleasure of learning more about Donnie’s less-than-loving relationship with his former personal attorney Rudy Giuliani.
But one of those new books has offered an even deeper glance not only into Trump’s relationship with the man formerly known as “America’s Mayor,” but that between Giuliani and some of Donald’s top aides, as well.
According to an excerpt of the upcoming book from Washington Post reporters Carol D. Leonnig and Philip Rucker, I Alone Can Fix It: Donald J. Trump’s Catastrophic Final Year, obtained by Business Insider, former GOP Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey and Trump senior counselor Kellyanne Conway once told Donald’s then-personal attorney Rudy Giuliani the wrong time for their debate prep meeting in an effort to purposely ensure that Rudy missed almost all of the prep.
Apparently, this trickster moved on Christie and Conway’s part was ignited by their disagreement with Giuliani on how to best approach Joe Biden during the debates.

“Most of the other advisors found Giuliani’s advice to be ‘supremely unhelpful,’ as one characterized his coaching tips for the president,” the book reads.
The reporters go on to note in the new book that Rudy intended to attend the next debate prep on September 28 but Christie and Conway already had a plan to intervene.
“Aides told Giuliani they would be gathering at 2:00 p.m., though they were scheduled to start at noon. They had tricked Giuliani by giving him the wrong time,” the Post reporters write.
Ultimately, the book claims Rudy was only able to participate in the last 30 minutes or so of the debate prep, due to showing up so late.
I guess it wasn’t just Rudy’s incessant farts that made him the pariah of the group.
