Trump Caught On Video In 2015 Talking About The Confederate Flag: “Yes, I Would Take It Down”

What a shocker.

Donald Trump’s obsession with the Confederate flag and monuments to historical figures who chose to abandon the United States is about as real as the president’s pro-life stance. In 1999 Trump said, “I am very pro-choice,” but when the former reality show star ran for the presidency, he clung to his lint-licking base who eventually brought him into power and declared himself to be “pro-life.” But, with everything this flim-flam man has said, there’s a gymnastic flip-flop involved.

The clitoris has over eight thousand nerve endings and yet is somehow still less sensitive than Donald J. Trump. The Confederate flag and his embrace of the U.S. flag seem contradictory. I mentioned the nerve endings because Trump feels that he can only attach himself to his dwindling base since anyone outside his orbit triggers the thin-skinned president.

Trump is a very shallow and flawed individual. The failed former steak salesman is a narcissist that needs adoration from his supporters. They are his supply, after all. And to prove that point there’s a video of Trump just a few years ago explaining how the Confederate flag should be “taken down.”

“I think they should put it in the museum,” he said at the time. “Let it go.”

Watch:

Trump lies so much, and he can’t keep his mistruths straight. One could speculate that this man has a multiple personality disorder, but the fact is, that he’s simply no more than a used car salesman that is trying to present himself as something he’s not simply to get that big sale — that big prize.

And now that Trump’s star is fading, he’s clinging to his dedicated base while throwing out dog whistles to say, “I’m one of you.” But, the fact is, he’s an empty being with nothing — no supply — left to feed his vacuous soul. Even those in Trump’s orbit know the president is flailing about, just trying to cling onto traitors’ statues in hopes of bringing his racist base by his side to save him.

Unfortunately for Trump, he needs more than his base to win against presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. Trump would need Independents, and those on the fence to win. Running a racist campaign amid a pandemic is an eye-opener, though.
