What do you do while you’re at the center of one of the biggest cover-ups in our nation’s history? Well, if you’re Donald Trump, you go golfing on the taxpayer’s dime and brag about it on social media. In 2019, the former reality show star who blasted former President Barack Obama for golf outings spent at least 252 days at a Trump golf club. Last November, the tally for Trump’s golfing addiction cost Americans an estimated $115 million in travel and security expenses — which is the equivalent of 287 years of presidential salary, the Huffington Post reported.
Of course, a lot of that money goes into Trump’s greedy little pockets as Secret Service agents, White House staff, and other “administration” officials stay and eat at his gaudy hotels and tacky golf courses. But the obese “president” calls it exercise.
