In the nearly three years that Donald Trump has unfortunately been president of this nation, he has always had one tactic that he falls back on — when everything around him is going to shit, blame Obama.
Donald’s predecessor, Barack Obama, to this day remains one of his favorite scapegoats when he can’t seem to figure out how else to get out of a huge mess that he most likely dug for himself. But considering Obama never had a single scandal during his eight-year term as president, Trump is quite often left to just make shit up.
And since he’s been doing this nonsense for several years now, the dude is running out of even remotely conceivable scandals and lies to pin on his forerunner.
But instead of just fessing up to his own guilt (because there’s a preacher’s chance in Hell of that ever happening) or at least picking a new target to lay some of his blame on, Donald’s scandalous and false claims about Obama just keep getting nuttier and nuttier.

Of course, that might have more than a little to do with the fact that he’s losing his mind and likely snorting Adderall at a record-breaking rate due to the stress of his impeachment as well. But I digress.
Today, Trump participated in a joint press conference with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and wasted no time in displaying his crazy for all the world to see with a manic conspiracy theory involving not only his predecessor but the Italian government, as well.
During the presser, Donald went off on one of his typical tangents in which he claimed that Barack Obama was somehow behind the supposedly “corrupt” 2016 election, despite the fact that Donald actually president right now. As he speaks. Literally.
“It was a corrupt election,” Trump proclaimed during the joint press conference before going on to reveal that his Attorney General Bill Barr was currently looking into whether the corruption “goes right up to President Obama.” He then proceeded to foresee that Obama would ultimately be implicated in the investigation — which is damn rich coming from the dude that’s currently under about two dozen investigations himself.
But Donnie didn’t stop with Obama this time. He was brave enough to actually suggest while holding a joint press conference with the Italian president, that perhaps the Italian government was somehow involved in Obama’s supposed “corruption.”
Go ahead Trump, completely fuck up our relationship with yet another country.
