Trump Is About To Have A Very Bad Week As Key Pence Aides’ Live Testimony Is Set To Take Place

This is about to get very interesting.

It’s only just Monday and I can almost guarantee you that Donald Trump’s week just went far more sour than he was prepared for.

Over the course of the January 6th House Select Committee’s investigation into the infamous, violent Capitol insurrection, the American people have received a slow but steady trickle of information regarding the true level of corruption that went down inside Donald Trump’s attempted coup. However, the House Panel is set to soon air explosive, live hearings where all the evidence will finally be exposed. Now, according to an analysis from Slate’s Dennis Aftergut, that trickle is about to turn into a tsunami that could wipe Donald Trump out, as the panel is set to open their publicized hearings on Thursday with brutal testimonies from three witnesses with close ties to Donald Trump’s own former Vice President Mike Pence. A move that Aftergut theorizes is an effort on the Committee’s part to kick off their hearings with the maximum effect.

Just late last week, we reported that the former president and his allies are in a desperate scramble to detract attention from the upcoming, damning hearings in any way possible — including a possible public appearance from Donald Trump in some way or another, conveniently scheduled at the same exact time that the House Panel is exposing him to the world. It seems Donald Trump is well aware that his already tumultuous life is about to take a serious turn for the worst.

“There are darkening clouds on his horizon,” Aftergut wrote. “On June 9, the Jan. 6 House Select Committee will hold public hearings as part of their ongoing investigation into the storming of the Capitol last year. In short order, the set of six scheduled televised sessions this month are likely to build momentum towards making the case that the president was directly involved in attempts to undermine the peaceful transition of power.”

“The steady dropping of shocking findings from the committee over the course of the past months suggests the sessions will likely have many viewers on the edge of their seats,” his analysis continues, as Aftergut suggested that the 3 forthcoming Pence insider witnesses could throw Trump and his people for a loop they’re unprepared for, as they could potentially expose the content of conversations had between their boss, Mike Pence, and and the then-president in the run-up to the January 6th Capitol attack, as Donald Trump worked diligently and tirelessly to pretty much force his right-hand man to help him steal the 2020 election by refusing to certify the Electoral College votes.

“June’s hearings follow a series of escalations in Trump’s ongoing legal battles stemming from his attempts to undermine the 2020 election,” Aftergut writes. “May’s legal developments and the looming hearings suggest increasing pressures and prospects that Trump will face criminal charges, the committee’s lead-off witnesses will be three courageous Republicans working for Vice President Mike Pence, who supported his resistance to the multi-step conspiracy that Trump appears to have led and aimed at ending the lawful transfer of power: His staff attorney, Greg Jacob, Pence’s outside attorney, Michael Luttig, the eminent former federal Court of Appeals Judge, and Marc Short, Pence’s chief of staff.”

The Slate analyzer makes note that he believes the devil will be in the details when it comes to the House Committee’s public hearings, after multiple “bombshells” were dropped on the American people in the days and weeks leading up to the publicized trial.

“While the final details are still being sorted, the upcoming hearings have two apparent goals. First, committee members intend to address Trump’s election meddling. And second, to elucidate the circumstances around the ‘hours of inaction’ before Capitol police received backup from the national guard releasing a video telling his followers inside the Capitol to leave,” the analysis reads. “If the details coming out of the investigation are any indication, the committee is hard at work building their case.”

“If May’s news was any indication, this select committee’s hearings will tell an even more chilling story — beginning, middle, and end — about how a criminal conspiracy nearly ended our democracy,” Aftergut’s analysis concludes.

To make a long story short, Trump is about to be exposed in a way he’s never quite experienced before, and I do not think the former guy is prepared for it.
