During his flight to Arizona with the state’s GOP members of Congress, President Donald Trump continued to whine about the “Mourning In America” ad that he had thrown a hissy fit over late Monday night.
That late-night rant included a personal shot at George Conway and his marriage to Kellyanne Conway as well as bragging about what he thinks are “accomplishments” all while claiming that Abraham Lincoln would be smiling down on him and disappointed by the Republicans of the Lincoln Project.
Trump apparently saw the ad the group recently released.
“There’s mourning in America,” the ad said. “And under the leadership of Donald Trump, our country is weaker, sicker, and poorer. And Americans are asking, ‘If we have another four years like this, will there even be an America?'”
Rather than let it go, Trump continued b*tching about the ad and the Lincoln Project during a flight to Arizona, according to CNN’s Jim Acosta.
Traveling with Trump to AZ I asked him about the Lincoln Project “Mourning in America” ad he tweeted about. He said it should be called “the loser project” and attacked George Conway and others with group.

The renewed tantrum on Air Force amused members of the Lincoln Project, including Conway and Rick Wilson, who both mocked him in response.
.@Acosta please tell him we appreciate his support, and that if he didn’t like this one, he’s𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 not going to like what we’ve got coming for him soon and in the fall.
Frankly, this wasn’t the one we thought would set him off. Those poll numbers must be truly awful. https://t.co/JDEs0ZBFff

Dear George, Rick, and everyone else involved in the Lincoln Project. First, thank you for your brilliant ads. Secondly I love the fact that you so easily triggered that red tie wearing ball of earwax. You can’t ask for better! I’m looking forward to your next ad.

Surely, Trump has more important things to think about than a political ad. Like, you know, the pandemic.
