Literally, everyone is abandoning Donald Trump at this point, as his scandal and legal peril mount at an alarming rate, in the direct aftermath of his 2024 presidential campaign launch.

That includes the ex-president’s own former chief of staff.

Former Trump Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney made an appearance on Fox News this week, where he made it crystal clear that he will not be supporting his old boss in the 2024 presidential election, saying matter of factly that he is “not interested in backing a loser.”

Mulvaney’s brutal remarks came during his appearance on yesterday’s Your World Fox show with host Neil Cavuto, who didn’t waste much time in asking the guy who once served as Donald Trump’s right-hand man if he would be throwing his support behind his former boss in Donald Trump’s third consecutive run for the White House.

“Would you support him if he were the nominee?” Cavuto flat-out asked the former Trump chief of staff.

Trust me when I say that Mick Mulvaney held nothing back.

“No,” Mulvaney answered immediately. “I don’t think he can win. I’m not interested in backing somebody who can’t win. He can win a Republican primary. I think today he’s the smart money to win the Republican primary. But for the reasons I mentioned five minutes ago on this death and destruction stuff and having dinner with white supremacists and all the crazy stuff that he’s been doing since he left office, he’s just whittling away at his own base.”

The former Trump staffer went on to note that the ex-president is miserably failing to bring in any new voters to his 2024 camp, and it’s clear that he didn’t have enough of them the last go around when he brutally lost to Joe Biden.

“If you don’t get more people to vote for you in 2024 than you did in 2020, you’re probably gonna lose, and I’m not interested in backing a loser,” Mulvaney said, undoubtedly hitting Trump below the belt with an insult I’m sure we’ll be reading about on Truth Social within the next few hours.

“There’s going to be a lot of those folks out there that are just tired of Donald Trump,” the former chief of staff said. Though, he did leave an avenue open to change his mind in the future.

“Maybe Donald Trump has a dramatic change between now and November of 2024,” Mick said. “Who knows? But as you sit here and look the tea leaves over right now, you gotta think he wins that Republican primary and loses the general election.”
