Saturday’s public schedule listed only “Executive Time,” but the day turned out to be anything but quiet. Rain in New Jersey kept Trump away from the golf course, and over the next seven hours his Truth Social account delivered 53 posts that moved between AI images, political memes and another round of criticism aimed at the Pope.
One AI image showed Trump pointing toward warships beneath the caption “You’re getting discombobulated,” although who exactly was being discombobulated remained unclear.

The posting spree also included a steady stream of AI generated images featuring Trump in heavily stylized patriotic scenes. One image showed Trump standing beside George Washington with a bald eagle and the White House behind them.

Another placed him on Mount Rushmore alongside Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln.

Researchers tracking his account found that AI generated images on Trump’s feed surged sevenfold in May compared with earlier in the year. Saturday’s activity added even more to that increase.
The memes kept arriving as well and brought a different mix into the feed. A fentanyl split screen comparing Biden’s America to Trump’s appeared alongside a retail theft before and after image and a Mean Girls reference featuring Marjorie Taylor Greene, Thomas Massie, Lauren Boebert, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and Rand Paul in a car captioned “Get in loser, we’re going losing.”
The former allies had apparently been assigned seats in the loser car. None of them have publicly responded to the seating arrangement.
The Pope also became part of the posting streak after Pope Leo XIV, the first American pope, was photographed with Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson during a Vatican visit.
Trump wrote: “Someone should explain to the Pope that the Mayor of Chicago is useless, and that Iran cannot have a Nuclear Weapon.”
The disagreement between Trump and Leo has continued for months and centers on the Pope’s repeated calls for peace during the Iran conflict. Trump told Hugh Hewitt this month: “The pope would rather talk about the fact that it’s OK for Iran to have a nuclear weapon. And I don’t think that’s very good. I think he’s endangering a lot of Catholics and a lot of people.”
Leo later responded publicly to Trump’s characterization of his views. “The mission of the church is to preach the Gospel, to preach peace. If someone wants to criticize me for announcing the Gospel, let him do it with the truth,” the Pope said.
The Catholic Church has opposed nuclear weapons for decades, which places Trump’s description of Leo’s position at odds with the church’s long standing position.
Saturday was not entirely out of character for Trump’s second term posting habits. Trump has posted more than 2,700 times in 2026 alone and averages more than 19 posts each day. The May 11 session remains the single sitting record at 55 posts in three hours.
