Trump Ruins Ceremony Focused On Veteran Suicides, Disrespects Country’s Heroes In The Worst Way

This makes me SICK!

Donald Trump has spent many ceremonies and events ruining things for those who are far more courageous, accomplished, and deserving than him. Never one to miss out on an opportunity to talk about himself, brag about things he hasn’t done, or whine about how hard and unfair his life is, the President of the United States has once again taken a ceremony that was meant to be focused on the country’s veterans and completely hijacked it.

The ceremony, which was centered around an executive order that would help reduce the rate of veteran suicides, couldn’t have been a more inappropriate event for the president to derail and go on one of his rants. And yet, that’s exactly what happened. Addressing the Veteran’s Administration, the president went off script (as usual) and went on a tangent, attacking Democrats and doubling down on his stories about how they are wasting everyone’s time with investigations into him and his inner circle.

Bringing up the 2016 election at a time when literally no one asked for it, the president said:

They just haven’t gotten used to the fact that we won a lot of states that Republicans hadn’t won in a long time. They want to play games. It’s too bad, I’d rather see them do legislation …. things like infrastructure but they want to focus on nonsense.”

There was way more to this speech, and it only got worse. Trump, of course, refused to take questions after this nonsense. You can watch the video below:

How many more times will the president ruin critical events for the country’s heroes? Veteran suicides are an extremely serious issue in this country — and the president felt it was appropriate to talk about his investigations. It’s no wonder that nothing in this country is getting done, and veterans are being ignored. Trump tries to pretend that he is doing a lot for our veterans — but this moment reveals the truth.
