Trump Seemed To Once Again Forget He’s Not That Important Anymore, Spent Morning Interview Comparing Mar-A-Lago Search To A “Military Coup” When He Hasn’t Been In Office More Than A Year

Yea. You're not actually that important, buddy.

Just yesterday, we reported on a Truth Social post from ex-President Donald Trump, in which he was apparently so vexed over his lack of an invite to Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral (while President Biden was in attendance) that he seemed to forget for a moment that he believes he’s supposed to still be the president — ultimately referring to Joe Biden as “our president” and specifically writing, “If I were president…”

“This is what’s happened to America in just two short years. No respect! However, a good time for our President to get to know the leaders of certain Third World countries. If I were president, they wouldn’t have sat me back there—and our Country would be much different than it is right now!” Trump fumed to his followers on his floundering fake Twitter platform, captioning an image of the president from Her Majesty’s funeral.

But wouldn’t you know, Donald’s accidental, inadvertent acceptance of his loss was short-lived, at best.

This morning, in what may have been a bit of attempted damage control after his telling Truth Social post, the scandal-ridden ex-president hopped on an early phone interview with Newsmax host Rob Finnerty — where Trump ultimately compared the FBI search and seizure warrant raid at his Mar-a-Lago country club turned post-White House home to a “military coup.”

The mere notion that someone would call a legal search and seizure warrant a “military coup” is insane enough all on its own. But it gets even more outlandish still when you point out the fact that Donald J. Trump hasn’t actually been the Commander in Chief over the US military for going on two years now. He’s seemed to have once again forgotten that he’s not that important anymore.

Newsmax host Rob Finnerty didn’t waste much time in asking Trump if he had plans to publicly release surveillance footage from the FBI search and seizure raid at his Palm Beach estate.

“They would rather have me not do it because of the safety of the FBI agents that swarmed the place,” Trump claimed. “And I don’t think they wanted to swarm it if you want to know the truth.”

Of course, Trump didn’t leave it at that. Because when does he ever?

“It’s not a pretty picture,” the ex-president went on. “It looks like a military coup. It’s not a pretty picture.”

In case you need a refresher, the Merriam-Webster dictionary defines a “coup” as “a sudden decisive exercise of force in politics and especially the violent overthrow or alteration of an existing government by a small group.”

Donald Trump is NOT an “existing government.” Farthest thing from it.
