Trump Sends Out Passive Aggressive Tweet After Finding Out Mitt Romney Tested Negative For COVID-19: “I Am So Happy I Can Barely Speak”

Gee, it would be nice to have a president for a change.

Sen. Mitt Romney has been under self-quarantine after coming in contact with plague-monster Rand Paul, who tested positive for the potentially deadly coronavirus. Donald Trump holds on to a grudge like it’s a roll of toilet paper during a pandemic, so the former frozen steak salesman has never forgotten Romney’s vote for the president’s impeachment. During one of Trump’s recent COVID-19 briefings, he responded to Romney’s self-isolation by sarcastically saying, “Gee, that’s too bad.”

Trump used his Twitter account to continue being a dickwad after discovering that Romney’s test came back negative.

“This is really great news!” President Exclamation Mark tweeted. “I am so happy I can barely speak. He may have been a terrible presidential candidate and an even worse U.S. Senator, but he is a RINO, and I like him a lot!”

Trump’s divisive tweet did not go down well.

Trump is pitting us against each other; after all, that’s what he does best. New York reported more than 5,000 new coronavirus cases and an infection rate doubling roughly every three days, and the president has basically let the populous state know they are on their own. Trump’s ire isn’t just reserved for individuals, but for entire states, too.

Trump, whose spirit animal is a snake oil salesman, has left this country without a leader during a crisis. Trump can’t bully the virus, so he has no other means to fight the pandemic. Trump never passes an opportunity to remind us of what a truly awful person he is.

Be Best, Mr. Trump.
