Trump Spent MLK Day Attacking Joy Reid’s “Lack Of Television Persona,” TV Host Wasted No Time Putting Former President In His Place

He should have sat this one out.

Former President Donald Trump kicked off Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by lashing out at Black MSNBC News host Joy Reid for no apparent reason. The twice-impeached one-term President also took a shot at Morning Joe, and it’s unclear what set that off, too.

Trump released a statement tweeted out by his spokesperson Liz Harrington to circumvent his ban on the social media platform to call Joy Reid stupid. While calling her stupid, the former President misused ‘spurn’ in his statement.

The MSNBC host, a Harvard graduate, responded after the former President’s called her “Unjoy Reid, the racist commentator on MSDNC (MSNBC), is toast,” claiming that her “stupidity is only surpassed by her absolute lack of television persona. She never had it, and never will.”

Reid responded, calling the “disgraced” former President “barely literate.”

“A blessed MLK Day to everyone, even the disgraced, twice-impeached, barely literate losers who joined the tiny ranks of presidents who were soundly rejected for re-election, but who still see an autocrat-for-life in the mirror every morning when they go to craft their combovers,” she tweeted.

Here is Trump’s full statement:

It feels good having a real President after four long years with that buffoon at the helm.

He really thinks he’s clever when he puts ‘un’ in front of words like the “unselect committee” and “Unjoy Reid.”

Was the crisis in Afghanistan surrounding the pull out of American Troops Biden's fault or Trump's fault?
