ABC News broke reporting today confirming that members of Donald Trump’s innermost circle were served a brutal loss in court today after a federal judge rejected their claims of executive privilege and ultimately ordered that top Trump aides, including the likes of former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and other key names, have no choice but to appear and testify before a federal grand jury that is currently investigating the actions and events leading up to and during the infamous, deadly January 6th attack against the US Capital.

Justice Department-appointed Special Counsel Jack Smith has been on a war path in recent weeks, issuing bombshell subpoenas against everyone within Donald Trump’s inside world — ranging from his old chief of staff, to his closest aides, to his staff at Mar-a-Lago. When it comes to Donald’s closest insiders, the former president’s legal team has vehemently argued the ages-old and tired-out “executive privilege” claim, saying that Donald Trump boasted protection and privacy surrounding any communications he made while serving as the United States president.

Federal Judge Beryl Howell said no.

Howell recently delivered an absolutely brutal ruling that rejected Trump’s executive privilege claims against the likes of Mark Meadows, John Ratcliffe, Robert O’Brien, Stephen Miller, and Dan Scavino. The judge’s ruling further encompassed notable names such as Nick Luna, John McEntee, and Ken Cuccinelli.

It is almost undeniable, as pointed out by ABC News, that Donald Trump and his attorneys will attempt to appeal this ruling.

Following the damning order from Judge Howell, a spokesperson for Donald Trump spoke out, saying in a statement, “The DOJ is continuously stepping far outside the standard norms in attempting to destroy the long accepted, long held, Constitutionally based standards of attorney-client privilege and executive privilege. There is no factual or legal basis or substance to any case against President Trump. The deranged Democrats and their comrades in the mainstream media are corrupting the legal process and weaponizing the justice system in order to manipulate public opinion, because they are clearly losing the political battle.”

In addition to the ongoing January 6th investigation, Special Counsel Jack Smith is also investigating the Trump-led effort to overthrow the 2020 presidential election in the US, as well as the infamous stolen government document scandal, on behalf of Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Biden Department of Justice.
