President Ranty never thinks things through before he speaks, even though this is something most of us learned as children. The only people left who gobble up the gish gallop Trump serves daily are his firebreathing, lint-licking base. In mid-August of 2019, President Nostradumbass held a 90-minute rally in New Hampshire in which he warned that not voting for him means your “401k, everything is going to be down the tubes.”
“If for some reason I wouldn’t have won the [2016] election, these markets would have crashed,” Trump told the crowd.”That’ll happen even more so in 2020. See, the bottom line is… You have no choice but to vote for me because your 401k, everything is going to be down the tubes. So whether you love me or hate me, you’ve got to vote for me.”
The stock market opened today 1800 points down, marking this the largest single-day drop in history. Within minutes of the opening, trading halted on Wall Street Monday morning after the Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted.
Trump has bragged about 401Ks on Twitter before, but he’s silent about that now.
