Tupac's family is not here for Trump's bull.

If there’s one thing Donald Trump and his band of cronies are known for, it’s their resounding lack of respect for anyone that doesn’t adhere to their narrative — alive or dead.

We’ve all witnessed over the years the way that Trump has talked about the late Senator John McCain, as well as many other notable figures that weren’t on his “side” such as John Lewis, Elijah Cummings, and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. And now the Trump campaign has taken aim at the late rapper, Tupac Shakur, in an attempt to get a dig in at Senator and Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

However, Tupac’s family is not here for it.

Recently, Kamala Harris named Tupac as that “best rapper alive” during an interview. Harris quickly caught her mistake, saying, “Not alive, I know, I keep doing that.”

In a disgustingly immature attempt to poke fun at Joe Biden’s pick for vice president, the Trump campaign confirmed that they invited the late rapper to the recent vice-presidential debates. But TMZ reports that Tupac’s stepbrother didn’t find the stunt funny at all.

Mopreme Shakur told the publication that the Trump campaign’s “joke” was “clearly disrespectful” but went on to add that it’s really not surprising, “We should know Trump’s lack of respect for the Black and brown community.”

Mopreme said that in lieu of an apology, since he knows Trump won’t give one, the President could make it up to the family by releasing his father, Tupac’s stepfather, from prison who was sentenced to 60 years in 1988 for RICO conspiracy, armed bank robbery, and bank robbery killings — Mopreme says his father has taken full responsibility for his crimes and served as a voice for good but has still been denied parole 8 times.

When it comes to Kamala’s minor gaffe, Shakur says it simply shows that the VP nominee has fantastic taste in music.
