Donald Trump really wishes he could be a big, bad dictator — something like Kim Jong Un or Vladimir Putin instead of just a measly president of a country. And unfortunately for all of us, Trump often chooses to act like his idols despite the fact that America is not and has never been a directorship. And even more so unfortunate for us is the fact that up until here recently, he pretty much got away with it all completely unchecked. Seriously, it took a blatant quid pro quo to even get the impeachment ball rolling. Nevermind the sexual assaults, rapes, tax fraud, campaign finance violations, emoluments clause violations, etc.
But perhaps Trump’s favorite autocratic ideas is that of a virtually unlimited presidential term. If he had it his way, he’d be the big guy in charge forever and ever, amen. Given that he’s not yet gotten even one full term under his belt unless the impeachment finally does come through for us, American voters better get their heads out of their asses or another 4-year term out of Donald Trump isn’t completely out of the question — as absolutely terrifying as that thought is.
But according to Trump, on several different occasions actually, has very publicly claimed that, in his opinion, even the additional four-year term he could potentially nad isn’t nearly enough for him. According to Donnie, former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation robbed him of a good portion of his presidency (one of his most favorite whines) and he really thinks he’s owed a do-over because of it — even though he’s constantly accusing the Democrats of wanting a do-over themselves. Evidently they’re just not as deserving of second chances as he seems to believe he is.
However, after Donald posted what appeared to be a sickening cross between a campaign video and a promotion for his Time Magazine interview to his Twitter account, it seems that a 2-4 year “do-over” could be the least of our worries — because according to that video, he doesn’t want to leave ever.
The video zooms in on a long line of Trump campaign signs, beginning with “TRUMP 2024.” As the video plays, each sign features the next election year, almost infinitely, with a solemn-looking Donald Trump standing in the background — indicating that he may be planning to stick around forever.

While we’re sure red hat MAGAs will be screaming from the rooftops, “It’s a joke!” That shit ain’t funny. Garbage like this coming directly from Trump is even more terrifying and pertinent given that impeachment is now that he’s on the fast track to getting kicked out of the White House before Christmas.
There’s a damn good chance they’ll be dragging him out by his hair when this is all said and done.
