Ukraine Newspaper Appeared To Troll Giuliani And Trump By Displaying POTUS’ “Shady Cast Of Characters” Across The Front Page

The world is laughing.

Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani made the bizarre and unwise decision to go to Ukraine during the president’s quid pro quo scandal with the country’s leader. In fact, one of the individuals Giuliani had been meeting with is Andriy Derkach, who attended the Dzerzhinsky Higher School of the KGB in Moscow with a thesis on “Organization and conduct of meetings with secret agents.” Let’s just say that Rudy Jailiani has a habit of making bad situations even worse.

Ukraine’s oldest English-language newspaper, the Kyiv Post, took to Twitter to troll both Giuliani and Donald Trump by revisiting an October 18 headline, which called out “Washington Players” in the Ukraine bribery scandal, with the title, “Shady Cast of Characters.” The header reads, “Engineers of Trump-Ukraine scandal,” and includes reporting on acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, former U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker, and former Secretary of Energy Rick Perry.

Trump said that Giuliani wanted to testify before congressional impeachment investigators about his recent trip to Ukraine, and we’re pretty sure that was a surprise to his personal attorney.

“He has not told me what he found, but I think he wants to go before Congress,” Trump told reporters at the White House before a trip to Florida. “I hear he has found plenty.”

Of course, that makes no sense if the president hasn’t spoken to his attorney, but Trump tends to just throw random words out there without thinking first. And wouldn’t we all like to see Trump’s bug-eyed, manic attorney testify under oath?

The House impeachment inquiry was launched after Trump’s alleged attempt to extort Ukraine in hopes of getting dirt on his rival Joe Biden. Articles of impeachment were drawn up after months of scrutiny over his July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. And that’s why it made no sense for Giuliani to return to the scene of the crime, so to speak.

If all of this sounds like it’s straight from a badly scripted spy film featuring the worst actors in the world, that’s probably because we’re witnessing the dumbest crime family ever in action with a delusional old man at the helm.

In the end, Trump was impeached.
