According to bombshell, and frankly rather disturbing, new reporting from The Washington Post, the January 6th House Select Committee is set to expose and present new evidence at tomorrow’s blockbuster public hearing that will allegedly prove that Donald Trump, while still serving as the president of the United States, was repeatedly warned about the violence that was mounting at the Capitol on that fateful day, yet continued to personally provoke and incite the conflict.

The explosive new report claims that House investigators hope to use newly obtained video and email evidence from the Secret Service to show the world that Donald J. Trump blatantly ignored the multiple warnings he received about the impending and ongoing violence at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021, and instead chose to continue to actively stoke the flames.

The Washington Post reports:

Other internal emails likely to be revealed at the hearing further buttress accounts about staff members warning Trump about the risk and then the reality of violence that day, as he continued to press nervous Secret Service agents to take him to the Capitol to join his supporters marching there, the three people said. After being alerted to violence erupting at the Capitol when he returned to the White House, Trump tweeted criticism of Vice President Mike Pence for not blocking the certification of the election, whipping up supporters who had already trampled over security barricades and were battling police to break into the halls of Congress.”

The January 6th House Select Committee’s next public hearing is set to take place tomorrow. The proceeding was originally scheduled for Sept. 28th, however, Hurricane Ian’s landfall in Florida made a postponement necessary. WaPo reports that a majority of the striking new evidence set to be presented tomorrow is expected to corroborate the explosive testimony delivered to the Committee over the summer by former Mark Meadows White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson.
