The now-infamous Mar-a-Lago document scandal is far from over. In fact, it seems we may just now be getting to the real meat of it.
Back in August, this nation was left rocked as the news broke that agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation had raided ex-President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago country club turned post-White House personal residence, on the direction of a search and seizure warrant handed down by the US Department of Justice, signed off on by Attorney General Merrick Garland himself. Within days, Americans learned that the DOJ was left with no choice but to issue the warrant against the former guy’s Palm Beach estate, after numerous attempts by the National Archives and Records Administration to retrieve countless boxes of highly-classified, top-secret government documents that had been stolen from the White House by Trump and his people during his final, tumultuous days in office — only for Donald Trump and his aides to repeatedly lie to NARA officials about their possession of the materials.
In the days and weeks since that bombshell news broke, the American people have discovered more and more damning information about what Donald Trump and done, and what documents and materials he took.
The Washington Post has now broken the news that, among the materials discovered at Donald Trump’s Florida estate, were documents that contained highly-classified intelligence regarding both Iran and China.

WaPo reports (though NBC News notes that they have not confirmed) that “at least one of the documents seized by the FBI describes Iran’s missile program.”
NBC News reports that they reached out to a Justice Department spokesperson who declined to comment on the development.
Following the bombshell revelation, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform, where he raged, “The FBI and the Department of ‘Justice’… are now leaking nonstop on the Document Hoax to the Fake News.” He also doubled down on his previous claims and theories that officials with the FBI may have somehow planted or removed certain documents from his property.
