A bombshell report dropped by The Washington Post today has now revealed the catalyst behind the joint decision between the US Department of Justice and the National Archives and Records Administration to halt all negotiations with former President Donald Trump regarding the stolen, highly-classified White House documents, and move forward with the search and seizure warrant that allowed the FBI to raid the ex-president’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

As was previously reported, the DOJ and the National Archives remained in negotiations with Trump for upwards of 18 months. However, according to the explosive new WaPo report, it was revelations from a worker of Trump’s that brought those negotiations to a screeching halt, when the individual told officials with the FBI that the boxes of documents and materials were about to be moved from the ex-president’s Palm Beach compound — and it was Trump himself that made the order.

The Post reports that the unidentified witness’ claims to law enforcement officials were ultimately corroborated by the security camera footage at Mar-a-Lago. The footage shows Donald Trump’s direct actions in the moments after he was personally handed a  government subpoena and told to turn over the documents and materials. The witness’ revelations combined with security camera footage confirm that, at that time, the ex-president handed FBI officials nothing more than an envelope with just a few things inside it.

This means that Donald J. Trump was quite literally caught on camera.

Washington Post reports:

The people familiar with the investigation said agents have gathered witness accounts indicating that, after Trump advisers received a subpoena in May for any classified documents that remained at Mar-a-Lago, Trump told people to move boxes to his residence at the property. That description of events was corroborated by the security-camera footage, which showed people moving the boxes, said the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.”

When confronted over the news and asked for comments, Trump’s spokesman Taylor Budowich blatantly refused to answer any questions regarding the details of the bombshell development. Instead, he quickly pivoted to an unhinged attack against President Joe Biden and his administration, calling the entire ordeal nothing more than a “Document Hoax.”

“Every other President has been given time and deference regarding the administration of documents, as the President has the ultimate authority to categorize records, and what materials should be classified,” Budowich fumed.
