As we all know, Donald Trump has run into a few issues when it comes to appearing out in public recently. Despite his best efforts to make all of America, or at least his Twitter followers and Fox News viewers, that he’s beloved and revered and the 2020 election is a slam dunk in the making, the response he gets to his face showing up places out here in the real world with the rest of us paints a much more dismal picture for Trump’s ratings with the public.
When attending Game 5 of the World Series, where he skipped the traditional first pitch and snuck in late (no doubt to avoid a disturbance among attendees), Donald still wound up being met with rambunctious rounds of boos and deliciously ironic chants of “LOCK HIM UP!” the moment his arrival was announced and his face plastered across the Jumbotron.
He tried again when he attended a UFC match in his home state of New York, where you would’ve thought he’d be well-received, but yet again he was met with boos from the crowd the moment they knew he was there.
Donald gave it yet another shot when he attended a football game at the University of Alabama in the deep south, where they revere God, guns, and Donald Trump. While he managed to get away without a scene during his appearance, students still made a point to protest his visit.

And now it seems that this country’s disdain isn’t limited to just the one Trump.
First Lady Melania Trump attended an opioid crisis event in Baltimore today where she received a reception very similar to what her husband has surely become so accustomed to.

Per the press report pool, Mel was “greeted with some cheers but also a resounding chorus of loud boos, which lasted for about one minute” from the audience consisting of over 1,000 middle and high school students.

Melania’s spokesperson has yet to respond for comment or release a statement regarding the first lady’s less than warm welcome at the event today.
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m confident that these students were all too eager to boo Melania Trump simply because she’s a shit human being just like the rest of her family. However, something tells me she got a little extra backlash today considering her hubby spent literal weeks referring to the city as a “rat and rodent-infested mess.”
It’s no surprise they weren’t eager to welcome her with open arms.
But… I don’t really care. Do you?
