Watch As Reporter Corners POTUS On Soleimani Causalities After Trump Says Injuries Are “Not Very Serious”

HE IS A LIAR!

Donald Trump has effectively made an insurmountable mess out of the relationship between the United States and Iran — one that was already a bit rocky to begin with.

In what was almost assuredly an attempt to distract from him barrelling impeachment proceedings and hopefully secure himself a few extra batshit votes from the craziest of the crazies, Trump recently launched an unannounced airstrike near an airport in Baghdad — one he didn’t so much as notify Congress about but was happy to discuss with South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham and patrons of his Mar-a-Lago resort — that effectively assassinated Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani.

While the actual demise of Soleimani in and of itself doesn’t particularly rub anyone the wrong way, considering he was a maniacal tyrant that Trump only wishes he could rival, it was the way that Trump went about it, his less-than-pure motives for the attack, and the real fear of retaliation from the Iranian government that had us all seeing red at our “president” once again.

And lo and behold, retaliate they did.

The Iranian government launched a counterattack against a US military base in Iraq. While there were no actual deaths from the missile attack itself — in the sense that no American soldiers lost their lives, which reports have indicated was an intentional move on the government of Iran’s part — a stray missile did take down a Ukrainian flight carrying 170 passengers, all of whom were killed, and reports have now revealed that 11 soldiers suffered injuries as a result of the retaliation strike.

Since the counterattack from Iran, Trump has tried to cool things down by hammering the country with additional sanctions and the threat of financial ruin, seemingly so as to not launch the country into an all-out war thanks to his terrible decision. He has honed in on the excuse that sanctions are sufficient because there were no injuries or American deaths sustained in the strike.

However, that’s not true.

While attending a news conference at Davos this morning, Trump was confronted by a reporter over the injuries sustained by 11 troops.

“Initially you said repeatedly to Americans that after Iran retaliated for the Soleimani strike, no Americans were injured. We now know at least 11 US servicemen were airlifted from Iraq. Can you explain the discrepancies?” the report questioned Trump.

“No,” Trump immediately fired back. “I heard that they had headaches and a couple of other things but I would say, and I can report, it is not very serious.”

“You don’t consider a potential traumatic brain injury serious?” the reporter continued to question.

“Uhh… They told me about it numerous days later, you’d have to ask the Department of Defense,” Trump replied before continuing, “No. I don’t consider them very serious injuries,” as he went off on a tangent about all of the horrors he’s supposedly personally seen at the hands of Soleimani.

Trump just declared that the injuries sustained by American troops, as a result of HIS shitty decision, were little more than a pesky headache.

But sure, he’s the most pro-military dude you’ll ever meet, right?
