Over the past couple of weeks, Trump has been putting more and more pressure on this country to get back to “business as usual.”
It began with a few careful ventures outside of the White House, such as the disgusting and now infamous Bible photo-op at St. John’s Church and he’s gotten increasingly brave since then — even going so far as to hold a MAGA rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, only to end up brutally “pranked” by thousands of “Tik Tok Teens” who purchased his tickets en masse only to leave him with little more than a couple of thousand attendees to actually show up to the rally.
Today, Donald Trump held his first joint press conference with one of his fellow world leaders since the coronavirus pandemic first gained steam in the United States and effectively brought life as we know it to a screeching halt.
Breaking the four-month streak of no overseas visitors at the White House, Trump entertained Polish President Andrzej Duda in the Oval Office this afternoon for a joint presser to discuss topics ranging from energy and trade issues to regional security and reopening plans amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Under the veil of legitimate “business,” however, both of the world leaders likely had more than little personal motive behind their event today, as they’re both hoping for a political boost in the midst of election season and Trump is still desperately trying to convince the masses that this COVID-19 thing is nothing but a distant memory now.
But thanks to a video of the presser that’s currently circulating on social media, it looks as though the two world leaders and their cabinets of officials may have a little more in common than just a pending election.
As is customary with these sorts of events now, as soon as the press briefing was over a White House official began to scream at reporters to “get out” before anyone really even had a chance to ask any questions.
Frankly, that’s something we’re all pretty much used to at this point. Trump has never been one to get along well with the media.
However, going off the looks on the faces of the Polish president and the various other officials from the country who were in on the meeting — it looked as though they were rather amused with the White House’s little attempted display of power there.

Of course, there’s no real way of knowing what was going through their head at the time. Perhaps those looks of what appeared to be amusement were actually looks of shock. Or perhaps it was one of those situations that are so painfully awkward, all you can really do it smile.
But if you ask me, the look on the Polish president’s face was a pretty good indicator of why Trump chose him as his first fellow world leader back in the White House — because they look like two peas in a pod.
