While Kayleigh McEnany Continues To Defend Trump’s Assault On Vote-By-Mail, New Report Shows She Has Voted By Mail 11 Times In 10 Years

Donald Trump has been raging against mail-in voting for weeks, even though our country’s military troops routinely mail in their ballots. And even though there is no evidence of widespread mail-in voter fraud. And even though Trump votes by mail. But here’s the thing: The more votes that are cast, the less likely that Trump will get reelected. And that is why Republicans have tried for years to throw water on a robust voter turnout at the polls.

The US will most likely be dealing with the impact of the raging COVID-19 pandemic well past the upcoming presidential election in November, and voting by mail is the reasonable route to take. But Trump is focused on his reelection and not the pandemic he bungled in handling, so he’s been on a tear for months to attack the voting process that’s worked out very well in many states.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany this week backed up Donald Trump’s false claims that voting by mail would result in an unprecedented surge in “voter fraud.” However, Donald Trump’s paid liar also votes by mail, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

The outlet reports that McEnany “has voted by mail in every Florida election she has participated in since 2010,” and “most recently, she voted by mail in the state’s March 2020 presidential primary, just as Trump did after he made Florida his new permanent home.”

Ohhhh…

In total, McEnany has voted by mail eleven times over the last ten years.

McEnany, while giving her president cover, previously said vote-by-mail was OK for Trump because “the president is, after all, the president, which means he’s here in Washington. He’s unable to cast his vote down in Florida, his state of residence.” But, that leaves no excuse for McEnany since she just recently emerged in Trump’s orbit.

Still, McEnany has been attacking mail-in voting in lockstep with her boss.

Trump is setting up the scene to claim the election was rigged if he loses. The president did this before in 2016, but after his “victory,” Trump’s now-disbanded voting integrity commission launched by his own administration uncovered no evidence to support claims of widespread voter fraud.

Sit down, Kayleigh, before you hurt yourself.
