While Pandemic Continues, Trump Takes To Twitter To Promote Book About MAGA: “Buy It!”

He's coming unglued.

With epidemiologists and public health experts arguing that the world is already experiencing a pandemic because of the deadly novel coronavirus that’s gone worldwide, CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta is now using “pandemic” to refer to the COVID-19 virus. The Dow is tumbling with global markets plunging after the implosion of an alliance between OPEC and Russia that caused the worst one-day crash in crude prices in nearly 30 years, CNN Business reports.

The public is in panic-mode, and here in the U.S., we have an inept leader who is tweeting nonsense while people are dying. There are now 500 cases of the coronavirus in this country, and the death toll has reached 22 in the U.S.

Meanwhile, Trump is promoting a sycophantic book by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk called The MAGA Doctrine, although it’s no secret that the president doesn’t read.

Others noticed Trump’s inability to focus on anything except himself.

Kirk didn’t slobber all over Trump before the election, something perhaps Donald doesn’t remember:

Trump has tweeted this morning about the “fake news media,” lashed out at “Cryin’ Chuck Schumer,” took aim at Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, circulated the “deep state” conspiracy theory, and of course, he brought up former President Barack Obama to call his predecessor’s administration “corrupt.”

Trump was impeached, not Obama. President Crazy Pants has always been obsessively jealous of his predecessor, who handled the Ebola outbreak calmly and without lashing out at his critics. More than 111,000 cases of the virus have been confirmed globally, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University, and Trump is promoting a book since the author is humping the president’s leg.

On Feb. 24th, Trump tweeted, “Stock Market starting to look very good to me!” while stocks were in free-fall, and now global markets are plunging. Trump tied his economy to the stock market, and now it’s in disarray, but yeah, buy a book. We might need something to read in the bread lines.
