Much like any other time Donald Trump royally screws up, his people are rapidly trailing behind him making matters that much worse.
However, this morning’s daily Trump disaster was a doozy.
In an effort to make himself look as though he’s still beloved and revered, and there’s still a single living soul out there that actually wants to vote for him come November, Trump retweeted a video of his rowdy and rambunctious supporters — complete with a man in a golf cart, driving past and screaming “White power!”
“Thank you to the great people of The Villages,” Trump captioned the now-deleted retweet of Trump supporters clashing with Black Lives Matters and anti-Trump protesters, seemingly just blatantly ignoring the proud and loud display of prominent, undeniable racism there.

Unsurprisingly, Trump caught a boatload of hell for the retweet pretty much instantly, resulting in him ultimately taking the post down from his personal social media page.
However, like all the rest of these massive Trump screw-ups and backhanded attempts to get away with being blatantly racist trash, the damage is already done.
Millions and millions of people have already seen it, Donnie. And no amount of dirty deleting is going to change that. And new people can find it any time they like since the person Trump retweeted didn’t take their own tweet down.
But, of course, that’s not going to stop his people from trying (and miserably failing) to clean up his mess anyway — because what else would they do, right?
In the wake of Trump’s “mishap,” White House spokesperson Judd Deere released a cleanup statement to try to settle the noise surrounding Donald’s “white power” retweet this morning. And frankly, it was as stupid and unhelpful as you would expect.
“He did not hear the one statement made on the video,” Judd’s statement reads. “What he did see was tremendous enthusiasm from his many supporters.”

Has the Adderall begun to burn Trump’s eardrums as well as his brain cells? Because there is literally no way to not hear that guy, loudly and proudly screaming “white power” in that video. It’s like eight seconds into the clip.
You just can’t convince me.
No, Donald Trump was once again trying to push the envelope and see just exactly what he could get away with in regard to his deep-seated desire to go full-on public with his gross, dangerous, and deadly racism.
He just got caught. Cause this country ain’t having it.
