Folks, Donald Trump’s middle son, Eric, has had himself quite the bad day.
Normally speaking, the guy seems to be pretty desperate for attention — hawking various Trump businesses like the grifter-in-chief he is and making random Twitter posts about a whole bunch of nonsense because he’s desperate for daddy’s love and attention. However, New York Attorney General Letitia James’ move to slap him with a lawsuit for alleged fraud in connection to the Trump Organization and demand that he be made to comply with the subpoenas issued in regard to the suit wasn’t the attention he was looking for, I wouldn’t imagine.
James intends to take a deep dive into the various lies that were included on financial documents that ultimately misrepresented the size and worth of various Trump properties and as part of such she has specifically called on the judged who’s assigned the case to demand that Eric Trump complies with subpoenas issued in connection to the lawsuit.
“Nothing will stop us from following the facts and the law, wherever they may lead. For months, the Trump organization has made baseless claims in an effort to shield evidence from a lawful investigation into its financial dealings,” the New York Attorney General asserted.
And, of course, in true Trump family fashion, Eric is now taking to Twitter to whine and complain that he’s under attack because the attention he’s getting ain’t the attention he’s wanting.

“Without any basis, the NYAG has pledged to take my father down from the moment she ran for office,” Eric tweeted out this afternoon. “This is the highest level of prosecutorial misconduct – purposely dropped on the eve of the Republican Convention for political points. Sad that this is her focus as New York burns.”

Lo and behold, Twitter wasn’t here for it:
Comply with the subpeona or shut up. Or both.

Why can’t you run a charity for the rest of your life?
I forget what happened?

I’d reevaluate what “without any basis” means.

Donald Trump about Eric Trump : « I don’t know this Eric so much… I just meet him twice… may be… you know… it is what it is… »

On a side note, Eric, the only thing “burning” here is your family’s chances at staying out of prison.
