We KNEW it!

Trump’s Post Master General Louis DeJoy faced the United States Senate panel, and then the House, over mail-in voting amid the coronavirus pandemic and the recent changes that have been made by DeJoy in what appears to be an effort to all but dismantle the United States Postal Service ahead of this year’s presidential election, in which Donald Trump is polling at a loss to Democratic nominee and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Much like pretty much all of these hearings with Trump cronies, it’s pretty safe to say that it just did not go well.

DeJoy was snippy and uncooperative, ended up with his ass handed to him a few different times by folks like Katie Porter who just were not here for his crap, and ultimately made it pretty crystal clear that he wasn’t going to be going out of his way to make safely voting during a global, deadly pandemic any easier than he has to for the American people.

Long story short, it was pretty much exactly what we expected out of the guy.

However, one body language expert and popular Twitter user is doing the Lord’s work and really digging into the dirty business that lies underneath DeJoy’s recent testimonies. And while his assessment isn’t what I’d call surprising in this day and age, I would definitely call it disgusting and pretty damning for DeJoy.

Body language and emotional intelligence expert, Dr. Jack Brown, took to his Twitter this afternoon with a detailed assessment of Louis DeJoy’s behavior and body language during yesterday’s Senate panel.

In a series of forty-three tweets altogether, Dr. Brown dug into every little detail of every little facial expression and tiny habit DeJoy displayed during his testimony. However, the conclusion of his assessment was this — DeJoy lied.

“SUMMARY: Louis DeJoy lied repeatedly throughout his testimony yesterday. DeJoy’s body language, verbal language, and paralanguage indicate that on multiple occasions, he did communicate with Donald Trump and…” Dr. Brown’s concluding tweets read, ” his surrogates regarding deliberately and significantly slowing down the mail and sabotaging the United States Postal Service with the motive of interfering with the 2020 Presidential Election.”

Dr. Brown ended the thread, writing, “It’s DeJoy’s full intention of continuing to conduct himself in a similar manner.”

The best thing we can do for ourselves as a nation is to take that warning to heart.
