Late last month, we reported on the bombshell upcoming book from none other than former special assistant DA Mark Pomerantz — the very same Mark Pomerantz who served as one of two prosecutors in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office’s investigation into the former president who quit their positions in protest following the incoming leadership of District Attorney Alvin Bragg — titled People vs. Donald Trump: An Inside Account.
Pomerantz’s book promises to expose the reason behind the Manhattan District Attorney’s infamous and infuriating reluctance and ultimate ongoing failure to indict former President Donald J. Trump on a multitude of his crimes. Of course, it came as no surprise that there are a select few individuals out there who really don’t want you to read what this book is set to reveal and have seemingly made it their mission to stop this tell-all before it has the chance to hit the shelves, and the American public.
But not only is the bombshell tell-all set to release in just a few days, sources now tell the Daily Beast that the forthcoming book, scheduled to hit the shelves on February 7th, actually contains damning evidence of fraud against scandal-ridden, corrupt former President Donald Trump.
In a nutshell, the book confirms that the Manhattan DA’s case against the disgraced former president is, in essence, the same as the bank fraud lawsuit recently filed against Trump by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

A source spoke with the Beast and said that Pomerantz — who personally led a team of local county prosecutors in their collection of evidence against Donald Trump to prove that he consistently lied about and misrepresented the value of his properties to banks, insurance companies, property appraisers, and even the IRS, in an effort to secure more favorable tax breaks and financial loans — was able to determine with the team that bank fraud was the strongest case they had against the ex-president.
The source with direct knowledge of People vs. Donald Trump: An Inside Account spoke directly with a reporter for the Daily Beast and confirmed that while Pomerantz determined that the bank fraud case was their strongest against Trump, the former prosecutor also writes about at least two other cases against the former president that contain damning evidence.
Prosecutors infamously worked for years and years to uncover evidence that linked Donald Trump to the violation of state laws in the Stormy Daniels hush money payment scandal that landed Trump’s personal attorney and self-described “fixer” Michael Cohen a prison sentence — namely, evidence that proved Trump broke the law by falsifying documents to cover up the notorious payments. However, four separate sources within the Manhattan DA’s office said jurisdiction issues connected to related violations of federal campaign finance laws hampered and halted their efforts at every turn.
Ultimately, the only underlying case that New York prosecutors could pursue in the matter was a misdemeanor charge, and officials just weren’t willing to essentially waste their one big chance on such a weak, petty charge, according to inside sources.
They needed something big.
Eventually, prosecutors turned their attention to the case that ultimately took down longtime Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg, who was finally convicted late last year, in connection to the Trump family company’s falsified business records that were meant to financially enrich the company’s high-ranking executives, while avoiding the tax bill. Sources told the publication that this particular part of the case was easy to prove, landing Weisselberg 5 months in jail after he cut a deal with the DA, and earned the Trump Organization 17 guilty charges as well as a pathetic $1.6 million in fines.
All four sources confirmed in separate interviews, “The documents speak for themselves.”
Of course, this is all evidence that the Manhattan DA’s office has had pretty much all along. But it’s certainly no wonder that certain people are desperate to keep a lid on Pomerantz’s tell-all book, as much of it is soon to go public, with no turning back.
