Just When Trump Thought It Couldn’t Get Worse, Former WH Adviser Stephen Miller Officially Testified Before J6 Criminal Grand Jury For Several Hours

There's nowhere left to run, Donald.

Scandal-ridden former President Trump’s life has been a real-life version of a series of unfortunate events, essentially ever since he was booted from the White House in 2020 and, therefore, stripped of the protections and shield offered by the US presidency — with the last several weeks reaching a significant crescendo that’s shaping up to spell life-altering trouble for the former guy, from multiple directions at this point.

Trump has faced down numerous mounting lawsuits, probes, and investigations from every conceivable angle — ranging from the January 6th Committee’s impending final report, to the New York Attorney General’s massive lawsuit worth literal millions, to the Manhattan DA’s criminal investigation that’s seen Trump Org CFO Allen Weisselberg begin to turn on the crime family, to the bombshell news of the DOJ’s Special Counsel investigation. And, of course, all of that doesn’t even begin to touch on the catastrophic midterm elections that saw numerous losses for Trump-endorsed candidates, and his disastrous 2024 presidential campaign launch that garnered very little support, and a whole lot more disdain as people run out of patience for Trump’s incessant antics.

I can only imagine the former president has begun to reach a point where he thinks things couldn’t possibly get any worse for him.

But they can.

They can, and they have.

The ex-president has been in a never-ending unhinged panic over the newly-appointed DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith and his brutal investigation into Donald’s crimes — and rightfully so.

According to bombshell reporting from CNN, none other than former Trump White House senior adviser Stephen Miller has now officially appeared before the January 6th grand jury, where he testified for several hours, serving as the first former Trump administration official to do so since the launch of Special Counsel Smith’s investigation.

This development is one of the most brutal, to date, in the series of ongoing investigations into the former president, as Trump faced political persecution from the January 6th House Select Committee — but faces true criminal persecution from the United States Department of Justice.

CNN’s Katelyn Polantz and Hannah Rabinowitz appeared on a recent edition of CNN’s OutFront, with host Kate Bolduan to discuss the ramifications of this development on the already scandal-ridden former president.

Mediaite reported on the transcript of that segment:

BOLDUAN: Stephen Miller, Trump’s White House senior advisor and speechwriter, testified today a grand federal — testified today before a grand federal in the January 6th investigation, he is now the first known witness to testify since the Justice Department appointed a special counsel.

So, Katelyn, you broke the story. Tell us more.

KATELYN POLANTZ, CNN SENIOR REPORTER, CRIME AND JUSTICE: Well, Stephen Miller is always been a very important and close adviser to Donald Trump in the White House.

At the end of the presidency, after the election, and up to and including on January 6th, he was his speechwriter. And so, what Miller would be able to talk to the grand jury about, what we know he is already talked to that separate House investigation about, is how Trump’s speech came about on January 6 to his supporters, the crowd that eventually rioted at the Capitol, chanting “hang Mike Pence”.

And one of the things that we know, from public reporting from the House Select Committee previously, is that Miller talked to Trump about what he was going to say about Pence, it appears. They had a phone call, and then after that phone call the morning of the January 6th, Donald Trump did want to put lines in his speech about Mike Pence, about how they needed Pence to block the election results.

And so, this is the first person that we have identified who went into the grand jury after the appointment of special counsel grand — special counsel Jack Smith. It is clearly showing us how this criminal investigation in the federal court system is really moving along at quite a clip, and really focusing around Donald Trump and what was happening what he was saying inside the White House — Kate.”

To make a long story short, it certainly looks as though this is the beginning of the end for Donald Trump, and Jack Smith may shape up to be the one who finally takes him down.
